Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). Pre-College Programs Committee on Instruction

The Committee on Instruction for Columbia SPS’s Pre-College Programs is an academic governance committee that reviews and approves all Pre-College curricula. In addition, it makes recommendations for program instructor hiring and filling course gaps; facilitates teacher development training; and sets instructor salary equity and academic program policies and processes as they relate to pedagogical support. Along with recommendations from the Pre-College Programs Advisory Board, the committee plays an integral role in ensuring that all pre-college academic offerings are supported and approved by instructors who understand the high school student population as well as college coursework expectations and preparation.
