Students

Students in the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) program come from a variety of backgrounds, geographies, and fields to hone and direct their skills as conflict resolution practitioners. Some bring this training back to their workplace to advance their careers, while others use their degree to pivot across sectors.

Your Student Advisor, Academic Advisor, the Career Design Lab (CDL), program staff, instructors, and even your NECR cohort will help to ensure that you have the tools and information you need to make the most of your time in the program and succeed. The NECR community provides active support as you organize your professional goals and program learnings into an effective, overall career plan. We know you are passionate about your future, and our program works hard to integrate your passion and aspirations with coursework and hands-on experience.

Following graduation, NECR alumni work across diverse fields and sectors & join a robust and engaged network.

Please see below for examples of the experiences and paths NECR students and alumni forge.
