Intensive Academic English Program
Study for 4, 8, or 12 weeks in our summer courses for pre-intermediate to very advanced level learners. Improve your speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills, gain confidence using English, and meet people from all over the world.
Advanced Academic Preparation
Prepare to start your undergraduate or graduate degree in the U.S. with this rigorous eight-week advanced level preparation course. Participants will practice presentation and discussion skills and learn how to write research papers.
English for Professional Purposes: Business
Improve your business English skills with this three-week advanced level course for professionals and pre-MBA students. Participants will hone their presentation skills, build business vocabulary, and explore case studies.
English for Advanced Legal Study
Hone your legal English with this four-week advanced level course for international LLM candidates entering a U.S. law school in the fall semester. The course emphasizes speaking skills and legal vocabulary to better equip participants for their legal studies.
Advanced Academic English for Graduate Students
This six-week advanced course is for Master's students entering Columbia University in the fall semester, particularly those in STEM fields. The course aims to help students improve their accuracy, fluency and intelligibility in English and prepare them for their graduate studies
