College Choice, a college and degree ranking website, has awarded Columbia University’s Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program as the #1 master’s program of its kind in the U.S.
The ranking takes into account factors such as national reputation, student retention, graduate salaries, and tuition rates, according to College Choice. In addition, the site analyzes data and information from the schools’ websites, PayScale, and rankings by U.S. News & World Report and The National Center for Education Statistics.
In the “Notables” category of its ranking, College Choice wrote, “This program can be completed fully on campus or through a hybrid of online and in-person study. And with a spread of elective opportunities, Columbia offers a program that is highly customizable. Indeed, you can take classes on niche areas of negotiation such as urban conflict, ombuds practice, and health care negotiation.”
